Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti’s self-named solo band Tremonti has been forced to postpone the start of its new tour due to the unforeseen weather situation being created by Hurricane Florence. At press time, the group’s show today, opening for Seether in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has been canceled. A headlining show scheduled for September 14th in Greensboro, North Carolina has been rescheduled for October 13th and fans with tickets for the original show will be honored on the new date. Along with the news of the canceled dates, it’s been revealed that drummer Garrett Whitlock will not be touring with Tremonti due to a necessary leave of absence for undisclosed personal reasons. Drummer Ryan Bennett, a longtime friend of guitarist Eric Friedman, will fill in on drums when the tour now kicks off in Philadelphia on Sunday.
