Alter Bridge will embark on its first headlining North American tour of 2017, beginning on January 21st in Mobile, Alabama. The Last Hero Tour will make stops in cities such as Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and Las Vegas before wrapping up in Seattle on February 22nd. Fan club pre-sale tickets are currently on sale, with general public tickets and VIP Packages available this Friday (November 4th) at 10:00 a.m. local time through Alter Bridge’s official website.

Alter Bridge drummer Scott Phillips told us a while back that playing live is what it’s all about for the quartet: [“That’s the reason that all of us initially got in a band, was to play. It’s not about the recording process, it’s not about, you know, what we’re doing now, interviews and all that kind of stuff, it’s about jamming.”]

  • The band is hitting the road in support of its fifth studio album, The Last Hero, which sold 28,000 copies to enter the Billboard 200 album chart last month at Number Eight. The group was last in the Top 10 back in 2004, when its first effort One Day Remains entered at Number Five.
  • The Last Hero broke into Top 10s around the globe as well, landing at Number Six in Australia, Number Five in Germany, Number Eight in Italy, Number Two in Scotland, and Number Three in the U.K.
