Avenged Sevenfold vocalist M. Shadows has told Revolver in a new interview that his condition has improved after a blood blister on his vocal cords forced Avenged to cancel a summer tour with Prophets Of Rage and Three Days Grace. Communicating via email since he’s still on vocal rest, Shadows explained, “Luckily, I didn’t have surgery. I was just put on a long vocal rest until the swelling went down. A lot of singers get this at some point, so it’s nothing to worry about. I’ve already been cleared to start humming and doing light warm-ups.” Avenged Sevenfold releases a new EP titled Black Reign on today featuring their various contributions to the Call Of Duty: Black Ops video games over the years, including the new “Mad Hatter” for the upcoming Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4. A video for that song debuted online Thursday.
