Avenged Sevenfold will release an acoustic album, Live At The Grammy Museum, this Friday. The performance was recorded on October 19th at the Clive Davis Theater in Los Angeles. A portion of the proceeds from the digital-only release will benefit the education initiatives of the Grammy Museum, which seek to inspire youth via the enduring qualities and cultural significance of music. The band members stated that part of the reason for the live set’s release was that they were “excited about their Grammy nomination.” The quintet has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Song for “The Stage,” the title track from their latest studio LP. It’s the first-ever Grammy nod for the Southern California-based group.
