Avenged Sevenfold will reportedly take most or all of 2019 off from touring and will not return to the road until next year. HardDrive Radio host Lou Brutus posted the news on Instagram, saying that he had been in touch with guitarist Zacky Vengeance about the band’s plans. Avenged Sevenfold hasn’t performed in almost a year, ever since a blood blister on singer M. Shadows’ vocal cords forced the band to cancel a summer 2018 tour with Prophets Of Rage and Three Days Grace. Avenged Sevenfold’s last full-length album was 2016’s The Stage, which was surprise-released just a few days after it was announced. The record, which was based around longer, more progressive songs, was the lowest-selling of the band’s career.
