Bishop Briggs announced on Friday (October 11th) that her second studio album, titled Champion, will arrive on November 8th. Following the summer release of the project’s title track as well as a song called “Tattooed My Heart,” a new single from the LP also showed up on Friday, titled “Jekyll And Hide.”

Briggs remarked about the song, “The title is spelt Hide not Hyde. GET IT!??!!!!! Word play gets me way too hype. I wrote this one with K. Flay and it was produced by Joel Little. In the chorus, we wrote, ‘Are you Jekyll & Hyde-ing me?’ as a way to describe the chaotic feeling of dating someone who has two very different sides. I hope you like it.”

The British singer’s second full-length LP comes just a little over a year after her debut, Church Of Scars, and three years after she scored a breakthrough hit with “River,” which made the Top Five on the Alternative airplay chart.

To support Champion, Briggs launched a North American tour over the weekend and next plays on Wednesday night (October 16th) in Boston. The trek lasts through mid-November.
