Bring Me The Horizon will release its sixth studio album, titled Amo, on January 11th, 2019. The band has spent the summer writing and recording in Los Angeles, with singer Oli Sykes and keyboardist Jordan Fish handling production. The first single, “Mantra,” was released earlier this week. Sykes said about the new LP, “Amo is a love album that explores every aspect of that most powerful emotion. It deals with the good the bad and the ugly, and as a result we’ve created an album that’s more experimental, more varied, weird, and wonderful than anything we’ve done before.” Sykes said on BBC Radio One this week that the music he and his bandmates are working on is “completely different” from their 2015 album, That’s The Spirit, hinting, “We want to be a heavy band, but not in the way you think of heavy.” Bring Me The Horizon will be in Denver, Colorado on February 11th at the Fillmore Auditorium.
