Courtney Love has been slapped with another lawsuit related to the turbulent divorce proceedings between her daughter Frances Bean Cobain and the latter’s musician ex-husband, Isaiah Silva. Love has already been named in a lawsuit filed by Silva alleging that she, former Britney Spears manager Sam Lutfi and 13 Reasons Why actor Ross Butler conspired to kidnap and murder Silva. Now Love is also facing a suit from actress Jessica Sullivan, the mother of Silva’s daughter. According to the suit, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, Sullivan accuses Love, Lutfi and others of criminal conspiracy, bribery, dissuading a witness, solicitation of perjury, intentional infliction of emotional distress and stalking. Sullivan’s suit claims that Love, Lutfi and the others tried to “procure false statements, solicit perjury, and dissuade witnesses whose testimony would contradict Cobain’s claims related to the legal ownership” of a guitar once owned by her late father, Kurt Cobain. Sullivan is seeking damages as well as a jury trial. Neither Love nor Frances have commented on the latest events.
