Evanescence has announced a tour in support of its upcoming album, Synthesis, which will begin on October 14th in Las Vegas and will wind down on December 19th in Portland, Oregon. Like the LP, the trek will feature a “reimagining” of some of Evanescence’s best-loved songs through the use of a full orchestra and electronics combined with the band and the voice of frontperson Amy Lee. Pre-sales for the tour begin on Wednesday August 16th at 10:00 a.m. local time, with general ticket sale starting on Friday August 18th, also at 10:00 a.m. local time. Every ticket sold will come with a download of the Synthesis album — which also contains two new songs — when it is released later this fall. Newly confirmed Evanescence tour dates include December 13 in Denver, CO at the Paramount Theatre.
