Angels & Airwaves and former Blink-182 singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge has filed for divorce from his wife Jennifer DeLonge. Tom cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, which was filed in San Diego on September 3rd. Tom and Jennifer met in high school and have been married for 18 years. They share a 17-year-old daughter named Ava and a 13-year-old son named Jonas. Tom is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the children. Tom left Blink-182 for the first time in 2004 and told us at the time that one of the reasons he left was to spend more time with his children. Tom split from Blink-182, the band he co-founded, for a second and final time in 2015. His activities in the field of paranormal research — including writing books and making films — were preventing him from committing at the time to a new Blink album and tour. Tom recently reactivated his other band, Angels & Airwaves, releasing two new songs and putting the group on the road for the first time in seven years. There’s still no date on the release of Angels & Airwaves’ new album, which will be their first since 2014.
