Godsmack frontman Sully Erna makes a guest appearance in the video for “Lost,” the new single from Stitched Up Heart. The track is taken from Stitched Up Heart’s upcoming sophomore album, Darkness, which will be released in the spring of 2020 and follows up 2016’s Never Alone. Stitched Up Heart singer Alecia “Mixi” Demner told Billboard that she became friends with Erna years ago, with him doing some songwriting with her for the new album. She explained, “We didn’t end up using those songs, but he agreed to be on [‘Lost’] when we wrote it at the end of the record. I just think he put a really cool spin on this song.” This past April, Stitched Up Heart completed a North American tour with Godsmack and Volbeat, with video from that tour used for the “Lost” clip. Demner remarked, “We can’t thank Sully enough for going to bat with us on that and for what he’s doing. He really wants to help us out and pay it forward and give us a break.” Godsmack will join forces with Halestorm for a U.S. tour this fall, starting on September 20th in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and wrapping up October 18th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10:00 a.m. local time.
