Green Day has released the music video for its new single, “Father of All…” The track, which was unveiled last week, is set to appear on the trio’s 13th studio album, also titled Father of All… or, in its full iteration, Father of All Motherf**kers. The video places shots of the band in between edited historical footage of generations of rebellious dancers, while the threesome play along against a menacing red backdrop. Despite the nature of the video, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said recently that politics would not be a major part of the new LP. Father of All… is out February 7th, 2020 and follows Green Day’s 2016 LP Revolution Radio. It arrives just before the band hits the road with Weezer and Fall Out Boy on next summer’s Hella Mega tour.
