The social media accounts of late Soundgarden and Audioslave singer Chris Cornell seem to be teasing what could be the arrival of new music from the beloved artist on September 21st. Cornell’s Facebook page posted the hashtag #WhenBadDoesGood,” which The PRP has reported as the title of a previously unheard song that will be released on that date. The track is thought to be part of a career retrospective, either a double CD or four-CD set, that will reportedly arrive in mid-November. The package is said to span material from Cornell’s various projects over the years, including his solo work, and will feature acoustic performances, covers and more. His Facebook account has also changed its profile picture to what is rumored to be the cover art. According to Alternative Nation, Cornell was in the early stages of making a covers album with producer Brendan O’Brien at the time of his death, and he had been working on demos for a new Soundgarden album as well. Audioslave also has unreleased songs as well from their time together in the 2000s, although it is unclear if any of this material will surface in the upcoming release.
