Islander releases its sophomore album, Power Under Control, next Friday (August 5th) and kicked off a lengthy headlining tour to promote it on Thursday (July 28th) in St. Louis, Missouri. The new record features an entirely new lineup built around singer and sole original member Mikey Carvajal. Among the new members is drummer Arin Ilejay, who was dismissed last year from Avenged Sevenfold after a four-year stint with that group.

  • The new disc is due out on August 5th and follows up 2014’s debut, Violence & Destruction, which featured the rock radio tracks “New Wave” and “Cold Speak.” The first official single from the new CD is “Bad Guy.”
