Jack White was awarded the key to the city of Cincinnati on Sunday (June 3rd), shortly before he performed at the Ohio city’s Bunbury Music Festival that evening. White was presented with the honor by Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley outside the famed King Records building. Also in attendance were King Records legends Otis Williams, Philip Paul and Bootsy Collins. The city of Cincinnati recently acquired the King Records building, saving the historic landmark from demolition. Now city officials are looking to restore the site.
