MEMBERS OF LINKIN PARK WEREN’T SURE ABOUT FAN’S ACCEPTANCE OF “ONE MORE LIGHT,” YET IT STILL DEBUTED AT #1 ON BILLBOARD 200. GUITARIST AND ALBUM CO-PRODUCER BRAD DELSON TOLD BILLBOARD, “OBVIOUSLY, THERE ARE ALWAYS RISKS INVOLVED, SO FOR US, THE REWARD IS THE MUSIC ITSELF, FOR SURE.” DELSON SAID HE WAS “SUPER GRATEFUL” AND THE FACT THAT IT DEBUTED EVEN BEYOND WHAT THEY PREDICTED WAS A GREAT STARTING POINT. THE BAND IS CURRENTLY IN EUROPE AND WILL BEGIN THEIR NORTH AMERICAN TOUR ON JULY 27 IN MANSFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS. SHOWS SO FAR HAVE INCLUDED ABOUT A HALF-DOZEN OF THE NEW SONGS. ONE MORE LIGHT IS THE FOLLOW-UP TO 2014’S THE HUNTING PARTY.
