Ozzy Osbourne is using CBD for pain management after sustaining an injury that caused the Black Sabbath singer to cancel all his live appearances through the end of the year. While dealing with a recent bout of pneumonia in April, the singer fell at his Los Angeles home, aggravating years-old injuries from his 2003 ATV accident that required new surgery. Appearing on the U.K. talk show Loose Women, Ozzy’s wife and manager Sharon was asked if her husband — who has a history of drug and alcohol addiction — could hooked on painkillers during his recovery. Sharon replied, “He’s off all of that. He had to have it after he was operated on the last time. But now for pain, he has that CBD –whatever it’s called — and he’s dealing with it that way.” The increasingly popular and legal CBD oil is made from cannabis extract and most commonly used to treat epilepsy and conditions of the nervous system.
