NIRVANA’S ‘COME AS YOU ARE’ FEATURED IN ‘DEFENDERS’ TEASER: Netflix is going to start shooting their new original series, The Defenders, a Marvel Comics adaptation, late in 2016. While most details are under wraps, a minute-long teaser featuring Nirvana‘s “Come As You Are” has been released. The clip spotlights Kurt Cobains‘s vocals as layered shreds of paper are torn away, including newspaper clippings and handwritten notes.

COLDPLAY WEATHERS STORM TO DELIVER SHORT SET IN CHICAGO: Severe weather abbreviated Coldplay‘s Chicago show Saturday night. After 80 minutes of playing, frontman Chris Martin told the crowd that they would have to evacuate Soldier Field after one last song: “A Sky Full of Stars.” Before the show, concertgoers were asked to take shelter until the band was finally allowed to go on shortly after 9 pm.

PERRY FARRELL SAYS HE ‘CRINGES’ AT LOLLAPALOOZA: As Lollapalooza, the festival he helped create celebrates its 25th year, Perry Farrell tells the Chicago Tribune of current lineup: “I hate EDM. I want to vomit it out my nostrils. I can’t stand what it did to what I love, which is house music, which was meditative, psychedelic. I sometimes cringe at my own festival.” Farrell touched on what he hopes he can create with a new festival: “At my new project, there will be great house music. I hope I will keep EDM at the door. They will be turned away.”
