• An AC/DC fan who ran into Angus Young and his wife Ellen in Vienna said she asked the guitarist if the band will continue after its current tour and whether Axl Rose will stay on vocals. Angus told her that right now their focus is just on finishing this tour and nothing is planned or decided yet. He added that the band will sit down and think about what to do after the tour is done and when they hopefully know more about singer Brian Johnson’s situation. Johnson, who had to come off the road or face total hearing loss, met this week with an audio engineer who has invented a new kind of in-ear monitor that Johnson could use onstage.   • Linkin Park has shared a video from the studio where the band members discuss the progress of their forthcoming seventh studio album. The follow-up to 2014’sThe Hunting Party is tentatively due out later this year. (The PRP)
  • Hellyeah has released a five-minute video featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the first week of the band’s “We’re All In This Together” tour with Escape The Fate, New Years Day and From Ashes To New. Following the end of this trek on June 5th in Las Vegas, Hellyeah will jump on the Hell Pop tour with In This Moment, scheduled to start on June 18th in Des Moines, Iowa. Hellyeah’s fifth album, Unden!able, will be released on June 3rd. (Blabbermouth)
