Asking Alexandria vocalist Danny Worsnop has revealed that he plans to continue as the band’s frontman, two years after he rejoined the group at the end of a turbulent period apart. Worsnop wrote on Instagram, “It was two years ago today that we announced my return to Asking Alexandria. That time has flown by. It feels like it was yesterday that I walked into the studio with Benjamin Paul Bruce and Matt Good to write what became the most successful record of our career to date.” The band’s sixth studio effort will follow up last year’s self-titled effort, which marked Worsnop’s return to the fold after he left the band on poor terms in 2015 to focus on his side act, We Are Harlot. During his absence, Asking Alexandria recorded and released The Black with short-lived singer Denis Stoff. Danny Worsnop unveiled both a new run of solo tour dates and a brand new solo single last week. The song is called “Angels” and it’s taken from his upcoming solo LP, Shades Of Blue.
