Slipknot percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan has refused to reveal the identity of the band’s mysterious new ninth member. Asked last week by Kerrang! magazine if he wanted to reveal the identity of the band’s new percussionist, Crahan replied, “No,” adding, “The position you may or may not be talking about is nobody’s f**king business.” Crahan also said that it will be up to the fans to make up their own minds once they catch Slipknot performing live across the world this year, remarking, “The proof is in the pudding,” Slipknot’s latest addition made his live debut with the band last week on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and is featured in the video for the new single “Unsainted.” Crahan’s interview took place before the death last Saturday of his 22-year-old daughter Gabrielle. The latter was reportedly found dead in her Hollywood apartment by police and firefighters, with evidence of narcotics use and drug paraphernalia found at the scene. Slipknot’s sixth studio album, We Are Not Your Kind, will arrive on August 9th. The band kicks off a headlining tour on July 26th in Mountain View, California.
