Twenty One Pilots have revealed that they are already working on a follow-up to their latest album, Trench. The duo revealed to NME that they are writing their next LP on the road, with frontman Tyler Joseph hinting, “There’s a character that hasn’t been talked about that plays a huge role and that’s probably where we’re going next.” Twenty One Pilots released Trench last October after months of speculation and theories among the band’s devoted fans, which continues with each new video or single. The conceptual LP followed 2015’s massively successful Blurryface. The band is in Europe now, but a second North American leg of the band’s “Banditos” tour will start on May 1st, 2019 in Monterrey, Mexico, closing out on June 29th in Columbus, Ohio.
