Steven Tyler‘s solo album is out today, but that’s not the only project he has up his sleeve. The Aerosmith singer is also appearing in director Casey Tebo’s horror flick Happy Birthday, due out September 9th. The trailer, which showcases Tyler’s acting chops, dropped yesterday.
The film is about a drug-fueled death defying journey through Mexico. Tyler plays a character named Kasape Suka, a cowboy type who joins the main characters on their adventure. Happy Birthday takes a turn for the spooky when a Mexican drug cartel gets involved.
- Meanwhile, We’re All Somebody From Somewhere is realeased today. Tyler already previewed three songs from the project, “Love Is Your Name,” “Red White and You” and the title track. He’ll be testing out these tracks and others on his Out on a Limb tour this summer.
