Weezer has shared a video for a new song called “Can’t Knock The Hustle,” which features a guest appearance from Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz. The latter plays a rideshare driver who looks suspiciously like Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and doesn’t know how to deal with a passionate couple in his back seat. The song is the first to be released from Weezer’s upcoming 12th studio LP, which is likely to be the long-rumored “Black Album,” the fifth in a series of self-titled, color-coded Weezer discs that have included the Blue, Green, Red and White albums. The “Black Album” will follow up 2017’s Pacific Daydream, which featured the Top 10 Modern Rock singles “Feels Like Summer” and “Happy Hour.” Weezer will kick off a North American trek with Pixies on March 8th, 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky. Tickets for the trek will go on sale next Friday at 10:00 a.m. local time via Live Nation.
