Fozzy singer Chris Jericho may spend more time on tour than in the wrestling ring these days, but he can still apparently take care of himself. According to Ringside News, Jericho and Fozzy played a show in Regina, Saskatchewan on Sunday night (December 3rd) when a man who did some work on the show tried to get onto the Fozzy tour bus without being invited. Details are somewhat sketchy, but it appears that the man wanted to get on the bus and ended up sneaking onboard after he was not allowed on. One of the band’s crew members saw him and they got into a fight, which ended with the intruder breaking the crew member’s collarbone before getting kicked off. Jericho followed the man outside and began beating on him, then went back on the bus before coming out again and asking onlookers to hold onto the man until the police came. Although the man broke free, the police arrived and ended up chasing, catching and arresting him. Jericho is currently the Intercontinental Champion for New Japan Pro-Wrestling and is scheduled to wrestle at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom on January 4th, where he will defend his championship. It sounds like he got in some practice on Sunday night. Fozzy has been touring in support of its seventh studio album, Judas, which has yielded a Top Five rock radio hit in the title track.
