On Sunday night, a man died at a Knotfest Roadshow concert near Chicago. Witnesses say that he had participated in the mosh pits in the lawn section and was knocked to the ground at least once. Then about an hour into Slipknot’s set, he fell out of the pit and into the grass. As people were trying to help him up, he suffered a seizure. Two men performed CPR before staff and emergency personnel showed up. Richard Valadez was 62 years old. An autopsy is pending. The North American Knotfest Roadshow tour is Slipknot’s first in nearly three years.
