A public memorial service for Oli Herbert, a founding member and lead guitarist of metal band All That Remains, has been canceled. The event was scheduled for this Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET at the Worcester Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, with livestreaming at Herbert’s Facebook page. But a new post on the page states that the event has been called off, saying, “The public memorial service for Oli Herbert scheduled for Sunday, November 11, has been canceled. No additional information is available at this time.” Herbert was found dead on October 16th near his home in Connecticut. Police were dispatched to Herbert’s Stafford Springs residence after the 44-year-old guitarist was reported missing. Officers searched the area and found his body in a nearby pond. Police sources say the death did not appear to be suspicious, pending the results of an autopsy by the Connecticut medical examiner. The Herbert family publicist confirmed Herbert passed away “unexpectedly as a result of an accident which occurred on the property of his home.”
