Twenty One Pilots have debuted a new music video for the song “Heavydirtysoul.” The track is the latest to get the video treatment from the duo’s current studio album, Blurryface, following the chart-topping Modern Rock singles “Stressed Out” and “Ride.” Frontman Tyler Joseph told us that he likes the fact that all the pair’s songs sound different from each other: [“When we first started getting into this, we didn’t really know that we had to pick a genre, had to pick a sound and stick with it. We didn’t really know what the rules were. We just really wrote songs that we wished other people were writing. It just felt right to let a song take itself where it wanted to, and when you do that, you realize that these songs are a lot different from each other.”] SOUNDCUE (:20 OC: . . . from each other.)
- Blurryface is the follow-up to 2013’s Vessel and also contains the Top Five Modern Rock hit “Tear In My Heart.”
- Twenty One Pilots will kick off a massive, mostly sold-out headlining summer tour on May 31st in Cincinnati.
- The Emotional Roadshow trek will encompass nearly 40 dates in stadiums and arenas across the U.S. and Canada, concluding with two shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden on August 10th and 11th.
