Volbeat has entered the studio to begin recording its new album for a tentative early 2019 release. Guitarist Rob Caggiano told Loudwire about the follow-up to 2016’s Seal The Deal & Let’s Boogie, “It’s definitely not going to be the same thing as the last record or the record before it. It’ll be slightly different. Obviously, we’re right smack in the middle of it right now, so it’s hard to say, but (it) definitely has a big rock feel to it, which I think is a cool thing.” Seal The Deal & Let’s Boogie arrived in June 2016 and featured the chart-topping “Black Rose” and “The Devil’s Bleeding Crown,” in addition to the Top Five title track.
